ConceptEdelweiss is partnering Kubera Partners, for the
Kubera-Edelweiss Social Innovation Honours, to felicitate outstanding innovations that positively impact the status of the girl child, through the delivery of a service in the areas of education, health and nutrition, and employability. The total prize money is USD 60,000, and the primary objective of these honours is to demonstrate the promise of a better future for the girl-child, particularly significant in a patriarchal and tradition-bound society.
Non-governmental organizations in any part of India that focus on outstanding innovations that improve the delivery of services to the girl child, in the areas of education, health and nutrition and employability are eligible to apply for these honours.
Through these honours, we are looking at bringing attention to and leveraging support for organizations engaging in innovative projects on the issue of the girl child across India and at sharing these innovative ideas within the private, public and non-profit sectors, to encourage learning and sharing of experiences.
The entire process of the Kubera-Edelweiss Social Innovation Honours is being managed by
EdelGive Foundation the not-for-profit subsidiary of Edelweiss.
Ernst& Young Pvt. Ltd. are the official tabulators and process advisors for the awards while
Tata Institute of Social Sciences are the official field assessors and process consultants.
